Wyclef had a McLaren F1 in the late 90s/early 00s, I believe that was the first of that trend.

The end of the month thing also depends on where they are with the incentives. They might get a bonus from the manufacturer for selling 80 cars that month. If they are at 85 it does you no good. Likewise if its 2 hours before closing and they’re at 65. But if you’re the only person in the showroom and they need one

In the past just the silverado and sierra (which are the same truck) have typically outsold the F series alone.

    Gotta get them page clicks.

It’s just like a company’s public filings. The first people to read it arent the investors, it’s the competitors. This likely happens both ways. And I’m sure the buy each others vehicles, test them, and disassemble them as well.

    Short answer: No

I’m sure the real people, not actors will love it.

I’ll believe it a week after Chevy makes a formal announcement that it’s happening. They’ve been teasing this for 50 years.

    1) Front-mid is not mid-engined

There is one of these near me and another under construction. I figured it would be a mess. There is a lot going on and from the aerial view it looks like it would be too much for the average driver to comprehend. I doubt you’ll have to wait very long.

Re: the Carrerra and F1 comment, that’s a different situation, there is a lot more money in the 1% of the 1% now. The number of billionaires has increased 10 fold since the late 90s. Cars like the McLaren Senna, Aston Valkarie, LaFerrari, AMG Project 1 will always have a market. The next step down, the +200k space

Geely chairman Li Shufu has also toyed with the idea of Lotus cars being built in China. I don’t care where the car is built, just give me a new Lotus that isn’t another variation of the Evora.

They’ve been talking about building one on the Volvo platform for a while.

I can think of nothing more boring than a life of bud light and automatic gearboxes.

You would think that would be part of the job requirements for someone who’s job is required to move random cars.

There arent a whole lot of options out there, I can think of: Viper, S2000, C6 ZO6/ZR1, C5 Z06, 00s Ford GT, Focus ST/RS, Fiesta ST, Civic Si/R, Lotus Exige/Elise/Esprit.
