He bought the least expensive McLaren ever made. I’d call that pretty sensible.
This car doesnt have NY state plates, it has US government plates. Due to the inconsistency of front plate requirements state to state, getting a ticket with a non NY plate is not happening.
Alphanumeric names are usually awful. A certain few hold a special place in the hearts of an enthusiast - M3, ZR1, F40. But on a bland car it’s just confusing. My dad bought a Lincoln MKC on Saturday. He told me about it on Sunday. I asked him what car that was, because i cant keep the all the MK_ monikers straight. I…
I would argue the opposite, some of those Z names have history, people care about those names. Z28, ZR1. What they need to stop doing is put Z names on the non awesome cars. Nobody would care, or likely even notice if the ZR2 name dissipated.
After the Bahar disaster cutting costs was the only option. Fortunately now Lotus has the deepest pockets since the GM era so they might be able to get on the right track.
The Pontiac Aztek must feel slightly vindicated.
I’d like to say a Lotus Elan M100, but that’s a few grand over the budget even if a bit rough. Or an S2000, but if it’s in 4 figure price range its well into 6 figure odometer range with a, well questionable history. So I’ll go with this one, T5-R, in that tasty yellow. Only 2 more years and you can import one with a…
I wish more companies would do something similar to what Singer does, but with other cars. First on my list would be the Dino 246, and this looks like it’s along those lines.
It’s very rare that a company is purchased and the CEO remains. The new owner always wants to run it on their own terms. He likely received a nice payout and official word is that he left on his own to pursue other options.
The current Exiges are incredibly tasty. Shame that we cant have them.
Judging by the picture of the two, the weight difference is at least 35 lbs.
Reading between the lines, he got forced out and is being replaced by someone from the new owner.
One of the first things my Dad told me when teaching me to drive was “assume everyone else on the road is a complete idiot” that was 21 years ago, still the best advise you can give to someone about driving.
That was 7 years after the mustang came out. We didnt have video cameras on us at all time or youtube back then, so we really cant be sure that that it didn’t happen just as often back then.
Click his name and read past articles he has written.
The Boxter/Cayman has been the better chassis and drivers car for a while. It’s just lacking the power. But we’re about at the point where the 718 GTS is at the limit for real world usable HP, so unless you are running on some big boy tracks, this is the one.
I cant imagine the level of disaster that driver could achieve with the wrong psi leaving cars and coffee.
Only $57k in options?
