Hey, it's Bai Ling. How much sideboob did you expect? :-)

Sadly, I used to access them through Google.groups, which no longer works for me. If you know enough about computers and are willing to download and learn to work a usenet newsreader program (which I don't have the patience for), the messages are probably still there. I don't think anything really dies on usenet.
Don't ask me :-) I try not to think too hard about the episode, much less the promos that I have thankfully blotted out of my memory.
That's great. Didn't know the particular metric (biggest ratings drop) even existed. Seeing as this one followed "Flashes Before Your Eyes," I think we can even forgive it a bit.
Oh, yeah, if you wanted enthusiasm, Jensen's was the place to go. I swear, I love the show to this day, but he took it to another level. If there was ever a bigger cheerleader with a louder voice and a bigger stage, I couldn't name it.
heh, between the producer of that one and Once Upon a Time, it's almost like a Social Security program for LOST vets.
I hear you. He's not just a paid critic for a mainstream paper now, he's got more (in the immortal words of Tommy Pickle) "'sponsibility." Between doing podcasts and travelling all across the country for press conferences and such, it leaves less time for actual criticism.
Yeah, no offense to AVClub, but Alan's site is the first place I go for a review on a daily basis, kind of like I used to look up Roger Ebert first for movie reviews back in the day. Not nearly the comments section this place has, but it's kind of nice to follow one critic across a multiple number of shows because…
Been waiting for that for…how long has the show been on now?
You bet. It's the beginning of the end of Sawyer's arc that comes 'round circle with "The Brig,"
You were actually lucky in that way. The way promos are done in Hollywood TV can be and generally are, pretty annoying. Not to mention confusing. It's getting a bit better, but there are still times when you might see a preview for an upcoming episode with a scene that ultimately gets cut or actually occurs five or…
As was the 8-track player and tape. I actually had three 8-track players at one time…one in the VW, one as part of a stereo system (along with an actual turntable!!!!) and one portable unit with an AM/FM radio that I carried around with me just about everywhere I went.
One good thing about time and growing old is that I thankfully forgot that over the years. One sad reminder that the producers of the shows back then didn't generally write the copy or assemble promotional material, that was a network's paid flak's job. And it's still a problem in Hollywood today.
A better one would have been that the ruined "Emerson and O'Quinn as suburban hit men" series was being put into production.
Yeah, I stumbled across that one when trying to track down Schmoker's query. Really brought me back to the day.
And if they film it in Hawaii, Garcia wouldn't even have to move!!!
Anytime. I don't know my way around computers, but have at least been around long enough that I couldn't not help learning a few things…
Knowing the ending of the series, the "walks among them but is not one of them" might just as well describe Jack when he gets "rescued." Especially considering how lousy his life back on the mainland turned out to be.
Darn. Sorry he isn't answering. I know it's a long shot, but you might want to try this:
Man, that's a site I've not been to in at least five years. Glad to see it's still around.
