Why can;t she believe it was “wedged” in the door? It’s literally shaped like a giant wedge. This is, in a way, exactly what it was designed for.
Automakers often use old global platforms for new cars here in the US. I believe the Ford Focus did this most noticeably—there’s like an extra generation of them in the UK/Europe, while they just kept making the “old” one here.

This is the episode that solidified my faith in this show. It had me cracking up countless times, and the slightly unhinged nature that made the old Top Gear delightful was back in full force. It was such a great balance of over-the-top production techniques and genuinely good humor and car segments.
They have two kids together, so their lives will never be separate. Might as well cash in anyways!
