They're all the fuck over the place in Arizona. Things don't rust down here, and people love putting huge rims on their trucks (and anything, for that matter). I literally see one or two on the daily.

It was probably the exact same kind. I searched around for info on it to see if I could salvage it, and every resource just said "no". I think they were known to just call it a day after a few years- possibly due to the fact that they were mounted in the non-climate-controlled and possibly leaky trunk.
They just want to hijack the reservoir to supply their hydrogen fuels.
I totally agree. In the future, a large part of a car manufacturer's reputation will be based on exactly what you described. I don't know if that would fall under the category of "reliability," but it's definitely going to become a factor, similar to the whole infotainment issue currently.
I bought a '94 Pontiac with a trunk mounted changer once, but it never worked. My aunt had a Lexus ES from the early 2000s that had the changer in the glove box, which makes 10x more sense.
Just get a CD changer installed in the trunk like the good ole days!
"...and then they came for me."
I remember reading the same thing- something along the lines of being able to off yourself with a hose from the tailpipe to the cabin wouldn't even work anymore, since cars are so clean.
I'll always say the Buick Century, because it represented the average buyer's age.
I just wish that massive budget was spent on more episodes per series, and not insane theatrics and insurance policies on expensive cars being driven in rough places.
Exactly.
I hope, like in the past, that you lay out all the actual costs involved, too. I really like that transparency in these series.
Despite more alarmist crap about Thuen's research, that wasn't what he or Digital Bond Labs were after. "What that dongle can do the car, we didn't touch that," says Peterson.
Some Netflix employee did an AMA today, and mentioned that Top Gear had been renewed... http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comment…
So, could you easily tow a second vehicle behind it? And what's the deal with no self-leveling on a $150k camper?
First world fucking problems.
The notion of an internet where free isn't an automatic assumption? Not impossible, but certainly a few decade's work.
And I am. Public transportation is awesome when you're in the right city.
Ok, so I'm not crazy. We just bought one and I can never find a perfect driving position. Which sucks, because this is our road trip car...
I wouldn't mind counting my time commuting as "on the clock" if I could get work done... Come in half an hour later, leave earlier, and just get that work done in the car on the way to and from.
