Perhaps we're just now getting past the idea that RWD=poor handling in rain/snow. I would argue that efficiency was a big issue, too, though less so for enthusiasts (but still important to the people that actually bought the cars new).

What happens when this technology is obsolete, JLR folds, or some other scenario occurs which renders this system, and the cloud, inoperable? In all seriousness, I see some Honda Accord here. The Accord similarly went from more rounded to more boxy (7th gen to 8th gen), as did this. Makes sense I guess.
