No, sails don’t fall into the ocean when the wind dies to become several hundred pounds of wet nonsense you have to deal with.

Subscriptions work for things like Spotify and Netflix because you are continually getting access to new content (added value) in exchange for your money.
I don’t like it either, but an argument can be made in the case of software produced by Microsoft and Adobe that they do continue to add value to the product over time; security updates, new features, new integrations, etc.
It also raises the question of what happens if you bypass the subscription. If my Toyota has all the hardware to make the remote starter work, and I’m able to make it activate with an aftermarket fob without paying the subscription, have I committed a crime? If I have, what am I stealing?

Sorry guys but the race was lost the moment Latifi crashed.
The judges waited too long to permit unlapping, true, and found a half-baked solution to correct that mistake.
As a tangent: this is one of the things I miss a bit about old-school F1. There’s so much emphasis now on having as much overtaking as possible that we sometimes forget how exciting and impressive it can be to watch someone refuse to be overtaken - like Perez here, or Alonso (also against Hamilton) earlier in the…
Nah. You EARN wins, you don’t DESERVE them.
Oh please. Max finished in the “Top 2" 18 times this year. More than any driver in F1 history. The man deserved that win.
Hell, I’m sure there’s already a few “RB paid off Williams” conspiracy theorists out there.
I’m sure he’s devastated.
1) Red flag after Latifi crash would have been best outcome, but I’m glad the race wasn’t finished under a yellow. For myself, I’m glad Masi made the decision he did because I got to see a dramatic finale.
I didn’t get that people hated Max until the last race, where he could have gone over the line. Before that, it seemed that everyone hated Hamilton.
“SUVs are popular for plenty of reasons... ease of ingress and egress, a higher hip height that doesn’t require anyone to bend down to buckle a child safety belt, better visibility, the perceived sense of safety that stems from those factors.”
He should be kicked out of the rally and possibly suspended for a year
After watching that second video, uhhhh...how the fuck did he not go to jail? He struck another vehicle (which was incredibly stupid and completely avoidable, especially by someone who competes in the upper-echelons of motorsports, no less), then not only leaves the scene of the accident, but just about runs over a…
It always seemed silly that they drive their non street legal rally cars between stages on public roads. The local police are notified and some don’t like it. And some professional race car drivers are entitled dicks. Who knew?
Yes, twins can take off on one engine. Past V1, the max abort speed, the procedure is to take off.
Rolling coal when a person is in the vicinity and when the individual rolling coal intentionally or knowingly causes that excess exhaust to contact that bystander is AT A MINIMUM an assault. They are causing their vehicle to “spit” on a living, breathing, human being that is worthy of dignity and not having his or her…
Current new cars will be a nightmare to repair when stuff starts to go wrong.
