Ahh, it doesn't put out any °F's at all. It puts out electromagnetic radiation, which can be reflected with very little absorption.

I've seen this and it looks to me like the problem is that the machines are very low to the ground. Being a tall guy, I have to look down at a sharp angle and the parallax really throws off where the hit areas are on the touch screen. (Allegheny County, PA)
I had that model. I was so excited. Despite my parents warning me, I launched it around dusk. 0.05 seconds after launch it disappeared forever.
The source I read indicated that the 1893 version could hold 60 people per car, 38 of which were seated. That's 2,160 people.
"it might pay to ditch your fancy handwash"
Why do all of the comments on Gizmodo now say, "You are following xxx comments"? This just started today.
Cost! Cost! Cost! The only thing that comes close to those top 3 things I hate is Pricing! Oh, and contract durations!
I had the Casio CFX-40 (http://www.bloggingwv.com/casio-cfx-40-scientific-calculator-watch-forgotten-electronics/) in 1984. Banged it into a wall and broke it. :( Oh how I wish I still had that thing.
So, does anyone have this yet? What speeds do you REALLY see using any of the free speedtesting utilities out there? Clearly you aren't getting 1GB really, that's just a theoretical speed for your connection from your house to the first switch. After that you're on the Internet and you'll be as slow as the rest of us.
Add to that "overpriced cables"
What everyone seems to be missing here is that he was charged with THEFT, not intellectual property violations like copyright or patent law. The court ruled only on the first thing, THEFT. This article doesn't mention anything about copyright, and therefore it has no relevance to MPAA/RIAA at all.
If Facebook complies with DNT, they will simply start charging for an account.
This is an excellent way to ensure that future companies, like Verisign, will never ever be based in the U.S.
"You can't turn it off" ... I had that thought as I was sitting on the plane and the voice asked me to turn off all electronic devices. I wasn't sure what that meant with respect to my kindle, ipod, and I guess now Windows 8 tablet.
I've spent years perfecting my running audio setup. The ideal earphones are $8 Sony over the ear hook earphones (I have a half-dozen of these in reserve), cable down the shirt, ipod clipped to the waistband. Spending $100 on one set of earphones for exercise is nuts, because you will break them.
The Mythbusters did do an episode on this. If you fire straight up in the air, the bullet tumbles on the way down and loses much of its velocity to air resistance. However, if you fire at a slight angle, the bullet will follow a parabolic trajectory, and if it keeps spinning and pointing forward, it will come down…
I've used this technology, and I have to tell you it is the best I've ever seen. My life will never be the same. It has helped me avoid fake reviews, while enjoying the useful real reviews I seek.
Or they meant 11.5 CPU hours.
It's all "brownpop" to me.
I hate being a prick about these sorts of things, but please look up what "Begging the question" means. [en.wikipedia.org]
