I keep thinking about Obama’s description of Putin as being like a mob boss (or something like that) and how when these Russian loans inevitably default unpaid the bolt cutters will be out to remove Donny’s stumpy little fingers.

Just looking at the front profile I bet the high speed aerodynamics are outstanding on the road.
Um a “good” Type 2, like a 60's era split screen safari window is desirable. This is a block of VW’s less than fantastic output.
“I am a bit disappointed to see that there’s no A/C, just a dash-mounted fan”
Both fair and reasonable, well said!
I’m thinking he is more deserving of the fate of Hector of Troy, drag his worthless carcass around the mall several laps behind a team of stout horses.
Possibly, but how long before everyone is vaccinated? Current best guesses are saying maybe 50% of major countries by this time next year. I don’t think the smaller airlines can survive that long.
Only carting I’ve done is with my brother who had a Clubman class kart. Yamaha 100CC, no clutch, single speed push start, 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds. One slip and you spin, you spin you stall and you can’t restart on your own. I cannot even imagine trying to do anything but just drive that. In something a little less…
Just need some tearoffs on the old visor and you’re good to go!
Well for a start all the Euro stuff will be metric so the US can’t accept that!
This seems like a damn good idea, kinda surprising that most/all motor companies don’t or aren’t doing this. And while the union may be pissed at the initial labor requirements if this idea takes off it could become quite the hive of activity.
Its going to be the international carriers or those who’s business was most profitable on international that will die first.
Just spit balling here but some back of the envelope stuff.
Except that’s not humans do things, as we invent a new technology and it takes over we forget how to do the previous version real fast. Like most skills the mechanics and people who understand the ICE will be replaced with mechanical/electrical technicians so that ICE mechanics become like blacksmiths, just a niche…
Wonderful!
The driver is also unsure how fast he was going so can’t confirm it.
Possibly a ploy to prevent rich numpties making one street legal somehow and then causing some chaos they don’t want to be associated with. This was after all a pure racer.
Pretty sure a Veyron service and a set of new rubber runs to about that kind of money, pocket change to these buyers.
“where the buildings lining the park’s entry avenue have smaller features on the second floors than on the first”
The roof in modern monocoque vehicles is a major torsional component, as is the windscreen. This is why convertibles have to have significant additional structural parts under the floor to compensate for the loss of the roof.
