Here in NorCal these things are holding their value like crazy. And not just low mileage garage queens. $12-$13k for not so nice examples. Case in point - my neighbor wanted one a few years ago, recommended he look for a low mileage XT turbo version. He found a pristine one with 30k for around $16k. Fast forward 6

He’s no longer the hamster. As of today we refer to him as the cockroach

I actually really like the second gen. Especially in brown!

Actually saw baby poo yellow one on Hwy 80 outside Sacramento last week on my way up to Lake Tahoe. The driver and I exchanged a thumbs up. I was in my 91 Range Rover Classic.

Miss my allroad. Over 4 years it was in the shop to the tune of $12k but I did not care. The $3k extended warrantee took care of everything

Gotta hand it to Uber’s PR team. Great way to deflect all the negative press they keep getting.

My A3 2.0T throttle response at tip in sucked. You got nothing and then Wham! Installed a throttle controller from FreePower USA and now I get to SET my throttle response. Problem cured.

Pure analog all day long!

An 08-09 is what I plan to trade up to. Not sure if I want the supercharger as I’ve heard those tend to go and rebuilds are not cheap. 2010 and on scare me just looking at the digital gauge cluster/ screen. Always wonder when, not if, those go out.

On an 04 that’s impressive. For the L322 I always recommend getting the best one you can afford. So go for a 2005 last year with the BMW motor and electrics. Skip the 2006 which has the Ford/JLR motor but ford electrics. You always see that year for sale for a reason. 2007 to 2010 is the sweet spot for the post BMW

In Europe contracts are awarded to builders that can guarantee the longevity of the roadway. Not by how cheaply they can build it according to arbitrary specifications laid out by municipal hacks. ‘Nuf said

My 1991 Ramge Rover Classic is reliable. I repeat, my 25 year old RR is reliable. And it my DD and goes to Tahoe in the Winters and hits the trails in the summer.

Those are indeed Aleina rims. All the automatic versions came with them

Love IT! Nice evolution of the design language that started with the Evoque

I’m a huge Rover head that this thing is gorgeous! Some day I’ll trade my Classic for this

Call me a purist but I can’t stand his creations. I find them pointless and I don’t see any real technical development or aerodynamic testing as RuF does. To me he’s like a butcher haphazardly cutting into a fine peace of meat

This thing is only useful to Rich arabs to survey their oil fields and to African dictators for touring their slave labor diamond mines

My dad had 2 of these

Had this exact one with blue vinyl interior and a 5 speed. Drove it cross country a few times. Awesome car

no shame in the SHO
