Agreed, my playthrough of the Restored Content Mod was a little underwhelming in the new content department, though it did patch up some other parts of the game.

I would say she is the best written, at least in regards to PCs. The only competition I can come up with is some of the NPCs from Planescape: Torment, but hey, KOTOR II is essentially the Star Wars take on that game.

Considering I lost my SF Masterworks Edition I should probably give this a try.

STALKER is one of the best games ever made, warts and all. If nothing else, it introduced me to the Tarkovsky's, but on its own it is wonderful piece of nihilistic Sci-Fi.

When I started reading this I had forgotten about Song of the Ancients, but thank you for not overlooking the best music of the pretty much the last decade. After this year I can jus say decade unless I'm blown away again. I remain resolute in the idea that the only reason we got the good but not as good Drakengard 3

Kaine's Salvation is obviously the best along with Shadowlord, but that whole OST is absolutely perfect.

Unfortunately no, Aunuma hinted that he never said the character in the trailer was Link, leading to some speculation that it may be Zelda instead. He later came out and said it was Link, I believe.

Doesn't matter, they are both more interesting characters than Link and always have been. Link is pretty much the tool they use to do dirty work.

A Sunshine-esque take on the JRPG would be something magical but I don't think there is a single developer still working in the genre that I would trust with that with the possible exception of Taro Yoko. The biggest problem with JRPGs in general is that they didn't grow up with the rest of the industry, barring a few

Never been a big Zelda fan, but I find myself appreciating the series more and more as time goes on, especially the divisive entries like this and Majora's Mask. I just wish I found these games fun to play, but the gameplay is so one note for me I just can't get into it.

Can't say I'm too excited for this one, recently finished the first and was left mostly unimpressed. I will probably get it down the line at some point, RE is consistently entertaining, but the only part I'm looking forward to is the expanded Raid Mode. I don't know yet if I like it or Mercenaries more, but any mode

Yeah, it was Legendary and yeah, it did suck. I was kind of hoping The Order were the Men in Black but for folklore monsters instead of aliens.

I honestly never even thought about it that way, since as far in as I have gotten so far the Indian terrorists are actually the "good guys" and the proletariat are actually evil (It was fairly obvious something more sinister was at play due to the game's prologue chapter), but yeah, not exactly the best endorsement. I

Co-op aside, this game is far closer gameplay-wise to Gears then Last of Us, which had shooting but was far more limited. I played The Last of Us as a stealth game, with shooting as a last resort. The only stealth in The Order is very on rails and most obstacles are solved by shooting them, just like Gears of War. The

Haven't had much time for gaming this week, mostly just played SMT: Devil Survivor, which is adequate and has terrible character design. But I am going to plug There Will Be An Echo. Any NeoGaf members know that the game's creator gave away a bunch of free copies, including one to myself. I haven't given it a chance

The game is disappointing, that's for sure. A cool premise and it still feels like a second rate Gears of War nearly a decade later. And all of its technical achievements, numerous as they are, are all far too fleeting. I don't think it's length is problematic (If you only have a five hour concept, it shouldn't last

Honestly, I would have preferred they did something more with the whole Arthur thing because most of the game is spent fighting rebels. Normal people.

KoF does look great, Xrd included. Never actually tried the series though.

I remember the write-up someone did for Darkstalkers way back when about having the best sprite work and from now on I assume that many of the better fighting games back then had the best sprites.

Too much RPG, not nearly enough time.
