This is honestly one of the best lists you guys have done. Did not expect to see Parasite Eve grace the top, but was pleasantly surprised. Only thing I can really harp on is Majula over Firelink, but apples to oranges.

You know, I forgot Hunters, so I may have to hand Kirby to you, Kirby's always solid. Personally, I'm not a fan of the New series so Mario has let me down in the past few years. Haven't tried 3D World yet, though.

This game is great, really can't argue against that. Outside of Other M, Metroid is easily the most consistently excellent of Nintendo franchises, even it takes hard turns like with this or Metroid II.

I'm pretty sure most of us thought that would be How To Train Your Dragon 2, which also underperformed.

I own the Wii version, day one. Loved the game, would have considered double dipping if the game looks like it was running up to snuff. Like I said, the downgrade is a lot more noticeable for me than it was for you.

I don't know, guess we're going to have to disagree on this one. Looks dreadful, even relatively. Mind you, I could just be salty because this is some Square Enix level bait and switch right here.

Which makes the "downmake" instead of a Remaster or whatever even more perplexing. This new 3DS is going to have a smaller install base than the Wii U for a while yet gets a absolutely hideous game as it's main selling point that most people wanted to see in a higher fidelity, all the while screwing over current 3DS

Chrst, I just saw the first images of Xenoblade for that new one. By God is it ugly. It looks an N64 game with more space.

Eh,I liked it's setting (Beat it in one sitting) but it really doesn't hold up as well. It's very obvious which parts are the parts when monsters can actually get you and when you are totally safe. Comes with the Chinese Room territory I guess.

Ni-No-Kuni actually had very little to do with Ghibli, they only did the animation. Everything else was Level 5's fault.

About 70-75% of the JRPG's I play. I'll even admit to liking Lightning Returns even though it's cons far outweigh it's pros. For some reason I'm just drawn to them. I'm not even a big anime fan, there is just something so out there about a lot of JRPG's that you can't really get anywhere else. Speaking of which, just

Bu seriously though, Kojima is an excellent choice for the series and hopefully del Toro will reign in some of his bad habits. It's just good to see Silent Hill again with this much effort put behind it. That "PT" thing was incredibly entertaining.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Fair point.

Gamecube is greatly under appreciated, mostly just because the sheer size of the PS2 library is unbelievable. But it was certainly Nintendo at the top of its game software wise.

I would even put Dreamcast as the first of that generation, it was just premature.

I almost just want them to release the original in all its camp glory, the Resident Evil remake actually had atmosphere and stuff.

I'm pretty sure the Gamecube lines up with PS2 and the Xbox.

That or its the first year and Capcom is doing poor financially and this is an easy way to get some money rolling. And the REmake is from two generations ago.

I didn't even realize a Capcom developed Star Wars v Capcom game was a possibility. Now I need it to happen.
