My car horn is a feature. Mind if I drive by honking all the time? just because you can do something doesn’t mean you should, especially when you’re imposing upon someone else.

It’s not a problem for small people, generally. The issue with reclining isn’t that it takes up a few inches of room near your chest. The issue for taller people is that the recline bangs into their knees, which are often touching the seatback to begin with.
I’ll bet if I park an inch and a half over the line in the parking lot with, what, 8-9 foot wide spots, you’d see a whole bunch of people here calling for heads. But taking up an inch or two of your already tiny space on an airplane is somehow completely ok.
People who recline are monsters. Full stop.
“ when you give a stable, developed system control it makes far less mistakes than a person does with the same inputs” and is far, far more confident of the mistakes it makes.
Also reminiscent of my “tighten it til it starts to strip, then back off a quarter-turn” approach to fasteners.
Yeah, none of the sugar free ones. Original haribos, please. And leave the bag open for a few days first so they’re more like hard candies.
Very true. People who complain about the reliability don’t own one.
No, but my wife does this (talks with her hands while she’s driving AND looks at me). EYES ON THE ROAD, LADY!
I’m glad the Elder Stroll saved Aston Martin from Oblivion. It’s great to see Aston jump into the F1 Arena. Hopefully they’ll fare well against the Tribunal of F1.
Honestly man if they can have some sucker pay $500 for .05lbs weight reduction, go for it. Means they have the $$$ to shove a flat 6 into a Cayman for 2020.
Eh who cares ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Honestly
If 15 MPG city isn’t acceptable, then that makes quite a few exhilarating cars unacceptable... In no particular order:
Dude, no. It doesn’t work. Either fix it or get rid of your rolling death trap. You have a responsibility to those you share the road with to operate a well-maintained and safe vehicle. The age doesn’t matter, but at a minimum it needs to have properly functioning lights, brakes, and suspension. Stop being selfish and…
Bad fake. It’s all over the place, starting with credit checks then vaguely making a segue into a car critique without referencing any specific policy or making plans to discuss.
Perhaps it’s on me for expecting better critical thinking from Jalopnik, but I cannot possibly express how disappointed I am that this is the party line this blog is taking. Toyota and others are not taking Trump’s side per se, they are advocating for a single Federal standard for safety and emissions. If you fragment…
This is the only correct reply to this new rule. My wife works in the Disability industry, her company specifically sells products for people with low vision and blindness. Blind People with trained Seeing Eye dogs are hampered by people with fake service animals creating a bad image. People with disabilities have it…
Full disclosure: I suck at driving a manual, and haven’t done it for 10+ years. I currently have a car that has had busted rear shocks for, oh, six months or so. Both of my vehicles are in serious need of cleaning, and, honestly, doing any wrenching is not very high on my want-to-do list right now.
You drove around for WEEKS with your high beams on because you couldn’t be bothered to change your headlamp when it burned out.
