Probably also increases the life of the springs that hold the batteries in place by not having them constantly depressed. Good call.

I still have the plastic wrap on the back door sills of my car. No one ever sits back there and I dunno, why pull it off now.
I’m going to keep buying sports cars. Eventually other cars will get so tall I’ll just be able to see under them all. Two steps ahead my friend.
I must be an outlier. I’ve never even considered any of these four points when buying a car.
Taking a wild guess that you’ve never experienced the joys of a credit card imprinter then. I keep one on the closet with my 8 track player and old beta tapes.
While that Lexus wouldn’t be my choice I agree that 60 large, or a little more, gives you lots of options. If the Kia were 40k sure. I still wouldn’t buy one but I’d get the appeal. At this price point why wouldn’t you buy the car you actually want? It’s one thing if the car offers a neat experience like the Kia…
Illegal in Virginia if the headphones are in both ears. Bluetooth headset or only one AirPod okay though.
The price on the CRX is ridiculous. I think it is funny that it gets compared to a new 86 though because framing it that way I would rather have the CRX - so maybe it does make sense. They were fun cars. Dangerous rolling coffins but fun.
My comment on the disappointment was more the RX-7 vs the RX-8 where I felt fans of that line were let down, which is what drove me to the Z (feel free to level the same criticism at the Z but I feel like the delta is much less). RX-8 vs Z is closer but I went the other way than you did in my comparison. I’ll give the…
Love that badge. If they’d have brought back the Pontiac Trans Am instead of the Chevy Camaro I would have considered one. I know that makes no logical sense but something about the Trans Am always did it for me and the Camaro didn’t even though they were essentially the same.
The RX-8 was such a massive let down. I remember looking forward to it as I was such a huge RX-7 fan (IMO one of the greatest cars of all time) and then it was just bleh - ugly and slow. I ended up with a 350Z instead. I know the Z gets some hate around here because they’ve been making basically the same car for 15+…
Nice car. Not my cup of tea but I really like the color combo you have and a great shot of it in the snow.
This is the list we deserve and thank you for posting it. This is brilliant, and 100% on point, from start to finish.
Counterpoint everything should have a supercharged V8.
Don’t forget the terrible interiors. I think this is one of their biggest short comings. You’re asking a lot of someone to buy these (cost, reliability, etc.) - when I sit in it I want to feel special. Everything I interact with should feel right and not like something from a cut rate Chrysler product.
This is hilarious but seriously what’s with people bringing kids to bars these days? And yes I’m counting all of the local craft breweries as bars.
At this price you’re looking at a pretty beat up 911 and this car seems to be done well and in decent shape. I’m in your boat and would probably spring for the 911 over this but you’re probably looking at more like $20k for a decent one.
Looks are an opinion. The 430 looks good in photos but in person it’s proportions just don’t add up especially when sitting next to the 360 and 458. The rear is too tall and it feels/looks kind of plastic. Not sure how to better describe it, just not even close in my opinion.
Very good call on the Ferrari 458. Gorgeous car and will forever be the last naturally aspirated, non-hybrid, mid engine Ferrari. For purists and collectors this will be a very desirable car even though they made a lot of them.
Best comment ever.
