Conveniently, in all 3 of my cars, the fuel filler door is on the same side of the car as the gas gauge is on my dash/instrument cluster: right side on the Jetta, and left sides on the MKZ and the hearse.
One potential gotcha on this: you only appear to be able to order it for in-store pickup. My local B&N doesn’t have it, and the closest one that does is in Columbus, OH (about 100 miles away). More than a little disappointing.
