I going with “meh” here. The Badlands trim can have a manual that gets the 4.7 axle radio (like the squatch).  Front and rear lockers (like the squatch).   The only big thing I can see missing is the 35" tires which can be added later.

The Aerostar is the reason my folks don’t buy American any more. If I recall correctly it took a faceplant before even reaching 100k miles. This was after weekly visits to the mechanic for a year or two.
