True crime television, which primarily revolves around the ID channel but also includes 20/20, Dateline, 48 Hours, Forensic Files and Snapped (when I'm really slumming). There's something very wrong and manipulative about how many of the stories are presented, but I can't turn away.

My all-time favorite comic book series is Jack Kirby's "Kamandi" from early-70s DC Comics. It's not the greatest I've ever read, but it is my favorite. Something about the art and the post-apocalyptic maps of North America and the general nuttiness of it all just worked for me. In a rudimentary (and sometimes

"This comes as DineEquity, the soulless accountants who inexplicably comprise the parent company of Applebee’s, announced its second quarter earnings saw a 21 percent drop in revenue from one year ago. 'Total uniformity had been achieved across multiple platforms,' said the jargon-spewing automatons, 'so we are

Cherry Poppin Daddies is the most offensive band name ever.

Bob Dylan's harmonica solos — too many great ones to name, but among them: In the Summertime, What Can I Do For You?, Every Grain of Sand.

The Cars, Dangerous Type. Greg Hawkes' electric piano is pretty awesome.

Cobie Smulders is so pretty, in spite of the weird name.

Seriously, as soon as you're having fun some pointy-headed fact-finder totally ruins it. Every damn time.

I must really hate rom-coms. I've seen none of these movies.

I'd like to go to one of the early-60s meetings of the Justice League of America, where they all sat around the table in full costume. In other words, I want to be Snapper Carr.

We had a TV weather lady in Cleveland who was gorgeous and she seemed to go out of her way to use "moist" and "moisture" as often as possible. It was mesmerizing. Then she left for bigger towns, like they always do.

I took a grad class in children's literature, and because the teacher assigned book four, it meant I had to read the three that came before in addition to number four. Rowling is an excellent storyteller but I found it all a bit cute. I don't know if I totally understand what all the fuss is about, but then again the

But is Jimmy even aware of the Howard-Chuck conversations?

I was a bit confused by Kim and Jimmy ditching the office. Isn't Jimmy coming into Sandpiper money now? And Kim may have a cash flow hiccup but she still seems to have two high-value clients that should more than pay for the office rent.

Why are people assuming Jimmy will inherit anything? It seems likely that Chuck will shaft his brother (one last time!) with an estate plan that directs everything to charity or some other recipient.

Why was I thinking the finale was 2 hours long?

I had a chance to see Nirvana on the 1993 tour, and passed it up. Still angry at myself.

Thank God for the highly principled people at Breitbart.
