Honestly Vanessa Bayer's one of the best comedic actors around. I want her to be as successful as she wishes to be.
Also, Vanessa Bayer is pretty darn great and I don’t think she’s so famous that she couldn’t be a regular in a sitcom.
This episode made me realize Debbie would probably break Gina if they ever interacted.
My one hope after watching this episode was that the header image for this review would be the awkward shot of Debbie holding out for a kiss from Jake, who’s several feet away.
Listen, if they can bring in Tim Meadows for a cameo, they can bring back Vanessa Bayer as Debbie “Ironically Head of a Prison Gang on Accident” Fogle. They did set it up with her women’s defense course.
I come from the future to let you know that Carrie does become a fecal matter thrower.
Dill returns to her long-abandoned hometown of St. Boniface, Texas
She experiences time the same way Dr Manhattan does!
Marc Evan Jackson’s deadpan might be my MVP of the whole damn series....It rivals Andre Braugher’s deadpan.
“Zhat Vash” is the absolute dumbest (and most pointless) thing I’ve seen on Star Trek in quite a while. Why the fuck does the super secret Tal Shiar need an even MORE super secret “hidden” cabal within it, which was, I guess, the entire reason for the Tal Shiar in the first place. And has existed for “thousands of…
oh my god how I viscerally hate the airport trope. (only mr robot kinda pulled it off). with the whole “let’s talk about our feelings on live tv” thing this was a real shitshow.
I remember them doing a miscarriage story with Bette & Tina in the first season of the original show. They spent most of the season on it and the fallout from it. And then we have the one here where the writers apparently didn’t know how to end the Shane/Quiera in a way that didn’t make Shane look bad (Or worse than…
I’ve actually been disappointed not to see more of those. I knew I’d left it wide open.
I’m a little annoyed because I’ve been resisting signing up for CBS All Access and now for the first time I’m feeling my resistance crumbling. Damn them for doing something right with Star Trek!
I wonder why they decided to kill off Fred Willard in a total filler episode? Like at least he didn’t die offscreen but yeah.
Also as proof of my Erinn Hayes superfandom I’d like to submit that I watched the entire season of both “Worst Week” and “Huge In France” just to get a taste of that acting. “Medical Police” is gonna be like gourmet meal after months of Taco Bell even if it inevitably fails to live up to my sky high expectations or…
Hot take: everyone has been taking Star Wars way way way way way more seriously than they should have been since about 1993 at least, if not earlier, and everyone should shut up about it for a few years.
I’d love to see her host. She spent 8 years on the show making the most out of some very weak writing. And she was back again last night doing the same.
Rachel Dratch is amazing. Can’t we just get her back on the show?
