I caught on to that pretty early, but I still really enjoyed this one. A- from me.

My major disappointment about this episode was how obvious it was that Sean Astin was the bad guy.
If CBS didn’t have its head up its ass, we’d get BOTH Discovery and Enterprise as separate series with occasional crossovers. Those asshats at All Access need fucking content so they’d be idiots NOT to spin off Enterprise as a separate series.
The line after def got a good laugh from me...
Man, and I thought Breaking Bad was black comedy. This episode made that show look like the Brady Bunch. Bill Hader gives remarkably good crazy face.
If I had to guess the rules of Westeros, I’d guess if a Maester signed off on an annulment and marriage, it’s official. Rhaegar may have skirted the rules but he was a beloved Crown Prince and it seems fairly likely the Citadel would have bent over backwards to help him out.
They are really over setting up Dany as the heel here.
While this stuff may end up mattering in the books, the show doesn’t care.
You forget everybody in the crypts. Could they have telegraphed that coming disaster any clearer?
As far as the show canon goes, that marriage is legitimate until the show says otherwise.
There were a lot of nicely-written character interactions here, on the whole. Brienne being knighted was a real high point for the character.
The ending with Jon and Danny felt incredibly contrived. It struck me as similar to “24,” where they would need something big to happen at the end of an episode whether or not it made sense to the narrative.

Yep. I love Pike and Number One more than anyone on discovery apart from Saru.
Let’s be honest, Jon would be a better king than Daenerys would be a queen. He actually cares about people and doesn’t just execute them because “reasons”
I don't think anybody who has ever seen an episode of any TV show thought Konstantin was dead.
The doctor said if she stayed there long enough someone would call the cops.
I dunno, the actress who played Cosima had a certain cheeky spark the others didn’t.
The actress that played Helena on Orphan Black really kind of stole it from the actresses playing the other clone sisters
