(Commentary on) the surveillance state isn't new, but the surveillance state is evolving in creepier and creepier ways. Advances in AI and machine learning will make large-scale surveillance easier than ever before. Check out the writings and twitter feed of Zeynep Tufekci (a TT prof at UNC — i.e., not some rando).
Paladin in the process of falling. Will no longer be able to wield Carsomyr, The Holy Avenger.
> Why are there so many manual workers in the Belt instead of just a bunch of robots and some people to oversee things?
Obviously the show has increased relevance because of current Russia-related events, but it just occurred to me that his neo-Nazi work also has current relevance, too, sadly enough. Would be interesting if they could work that in elegantly.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit is decidedly not kid-friendly.

What was it? Comment was deleted. Some kind of fibonacci spiral or fractal shit?
I wouldn't say Amos doesn't have a conscience — we've twice seen him exhibit a soft spot for traditionally exploited populations: sex workers and children.
> Hm, except this Rick friggin' hates his Morty.
I have a feeling the Wu redemption arc and Earth Kingdom/Empire storyline will be resolved with the Earth Kingdom becoming a constitutional monarchy with a parliament and figurehead monarch.
Blessings of Talos upon you for comparing OITNB, Hannibal, and LOK in one post.
How do you think he becomes less cool? Because he gets rid of his muscle car and becomes an actuary?
I would have like the "Jews" painting joke, except that he made basically the same joke (say Jews in random place) last season during the Late Night storyline.
