I love reading these, and normally that’s all there is to it, but this time around, so many of my own stories come to mind. Here are two from my more projecty projects.

I did that once. But it was on a Buell I had bought earlier that day. Turns out the oil in those is in the swing arm. And the belly where a normal bike has oil, has transmission fluid. Those bikes had a lot of neat design quirks.

Haven’t thought of doing that, but I have managed to crush a couple until they were more manageable with some channel locks
