I taught my gf a couple years ago and when her dad heard, he was overjoyed to the point of tears that she had finally learned. His vehicle of choice is an 87 Toyota pickup with the manual, currently getting restored to better than new :)

HA laughed a little too loud at work :)
It’s the Rocky Mountain Oysters ;)
Are these pictures squashed a little? Or is the car just that low?
Thank you, yes, this idea needs to be heard a lot more
So basically they un-Elvis-ed it? Sounds seriously devalued
Holy dang, look at the dents in the rims!
References? I don’t think you understand how internet commenting works, therefore your argument is invalid.
I’m under the impression you can still choose the fix route. You get the restitution payment and promise to get it fixed when the fix becomes available, or is that not how that option works? Then you sell it with a bill of sale that states the new owner will be responsible for getting the fix when it becomes available.
Oh interesting, I didn’t notice that option in all the reporting, so that would be for the people that don’t want it fixed and just want to drive it till the wheels fall off, yeah?
If I were you, I would post this plan to various craigslist sites. I bet you’d get some interest. Plenty of people will go with the buyback, you just have to get to them before they do so they choose just the restitution payment and keep the car to sell to you for the extra $1000.
The previous owner would still get the $5100, but the previous owner gets an extra $1000 over the buyback value and Cheese302 gets a deal on a tdi.
My money is on: it unlocks the doors
Where in CO? Let’s hang out!
I think you meant to say Prius in general is a crime ;)
ah good point on the engine sharing/name consistency, I didn’t think about that
Wait, what? You just exhibited the very behaviour you were condemning in ninjagin...
I daily ride an FZ-07 now (your MT-07 wherever you are), and it feels gutless compared to the Buell XB12scg I used to have. I miss the torque. Really need to take an XSR900 for a spin, those classic looks look so good :)
does tdf stand for turbo diesel forealz?
Can you force them to take down the video? I would imagine Australia has some similar copyright laws.
