That implication just proves you haven’t worked with any decent security cameras. I just installed several that have a very similar time stamp overlay (I call it the vcr font) and are capable of recording 2k @ 60 fps. They have great lenses too, top notch video quality from them.

I was just going to say the same thing. That is the same look as the OSD on my 5 month old Panasonic IP security cameras. The overlay doesn’t make them old (these security cameras capture H.264 in 2k@60fps), that’s just the industry standard
