Safety doesn’t seem to be in the discussion. Remotely operating a crane from a bird’s eye view or not having someone standing UNDER a 10 ton container seems like something people would want. It’s not as if there won’t still be a need for people and the changing job of maintenance.

AM bands typically are longer wavelengths, which don’t fit into tiny cell phone antennas. To make it more compact a large chunk of ferrite can help, but it doesn’t do it all. The radio reception for tiny receivers use the headphone as the antenna, but that’s not necessarily the right length to be properly tuned.

My wife has run it a few times, and we used to live in Hopkinton. I approve of the color scheme for jackets, tattoos (not yet, but she’s window shopping) and t-shirts, but unless you start incorporating some unicorn stitching, it’s not floating my boat as a car interior.

Not that able-bodied people don’t also deserve to not be ripped off, it’s especially scummy to do this to people that need these vehicles.  Worst of the worst.

I had a 2012 XC60 with the I6turbo that started to eat oil like crazy at around 50k miles so we traded it on an XC90 with the I4 turbo (not the complicated turbo+supercharger). Other than an initial service / recall that replaced all the spark plugs at <1000 miles, it has been completely reliable for ~6 yrs. 🤞
