It’s insane and inane at the same time.
It’s insane and inane at the same time.
T-Mobile has been great to me since I’ve been on board, but this new pricing set up blows. I always spoke highly about them and what a great value they are but I can’t wrap my head around why they would do this. It just doesn’t seem like it makes sense.
The question would be, even if they could afford it, would they be allowed to use a car with an unknown male drivers alone?
That’s exactly my point. Most people would have wanted to help, but the reality of their own lives and what they’d be risking would give them pause. Especially for a stranger. It may sound/be terrible, but that’s the reality
Yeah, it seems to me that it’s mostly men who have EMOTIONAL reactions to adversity in their lives. Oh, wait. Anger isn't an emotion. Where's my head?
The danger. The fear. The unknown.
After the first time I was raped, I doubled down on my belief in rehabilitation and my condemnation of vengeance, because I felt like I needed to prove that I was better than my rapist, that I wouldn’t stoop to his level. After the first time a partner hit me, I swore that I would never, ever willingly hurt another…
But it’s definitely women who are too emotional to hold public office, join the armed forces or make their own medical decisions. Right.
Does it? I have to do first aid training every year and the paramedics always tell us that’s a myth that stops people helping but never happens unless you do something way outside what is reasonable, like try to perform open heart surgery by the side of the road with only CPR training, but that could be different in…
“Weak, insecure men will be the death of us all.”
I really wish women could defend themselves more using deadly force. A woman tries to defend herself and she ends up in prison for the rest of her life.
Actually they do. Statistically women live longer without a husband to take care of. Men live longer with a wife to take care of them.
I like to think that with a trauma as great as having your entire body put on fire you’d go into some sort of shock that precludes pain. God, I hope so.
Tell yourself that if you’re in that poor woman’s place at some point.
That’s ignoring human nature. No one mentally checks the local legal guarantees in place when faced with a life-and-death situation. You just react, on an animal level. You fight, or you flee. You get involved or you duck your head and move on.
But they have to stop the non-existent transgender threat. You know to protect women and children that are property of said republican men. They get to do whatever they like with their property so domestic abuse laws aren’t in their best interests.
So. Other people have left the Atwood quote. #masculinitysofragile also seems apt, but fuck! This is too serious to even SEEM to be flippant.
Yet the Republicans won’t sign a Violence Against Women Act or prevent domestic abusers from easy access to guns. In India abusive men throw acid in women’s faces. This is real, people. Needs to stop.
Maria Monteleone posits thatPaduano’s motivation for the slaying was that he “didn’t accept being abandoned”
People would hate to hear how doctors talk when there are no patients around! It’s a coping mechanism.
