The thing about ‘Mean Girls’ (literally one of my favorite films) is that every other person in that film out-shined her — Rachel McAdams, Lizzy Caplan, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert, Daniel Franzese were all funnier, more memorable characters with more quotable dialogue.

Right?! Is solving her uncle’s murder not enough plot? And the private investigator role is begging for some kind of character development, it would have been so easy to give her some kind of gritty backstory. But no. Werewolves.

Agreed on all fronts. Acting as a teen and acting as an adult are very different things. She’ll need to do some really serious work on her craft and although its true that we don’t know what she’s really been doing all this time I’d still bet money that taking serious acting classes wasn’t it.
