No where in the article they said it was a port of the 3DS version. It will probably be a version made specifically for the Switch. What I was saying is that the Switch will replace the 3DS like the 3DS replaced the DS.

Well the switch is both the next home console and portable for Nintendo. I’m pretty sure there won’t be any other portable console and that most game series from the 3DS will move on to the Switch.
