I worked in a few dealerships but never as a salesman. Best advice I was given and continue to pass on is never negotiate monthly payment. All they are going to do is tack on months to your loan. Best thing to do is negotiate 3 separate items. Price of car, interest on loan and amount for trade in. Keep  them

This is Fred Beans. It’s really disappointing. Was buying 2 cars a few years ago, a FiST or FoST and most likely an Escape for my wife. They’re only a couple miles from home so I wanted to give them a shot. Ended up not purchasing either of the cars from them. Was really disappointed by their service department

Wanted to add this to all your PA tags.

My wife and I take my Fist along with our Great Dane for long weekends at the shore on a regular basis. I think the fit has more interior space. Shouldn’t be a problem for you. Side note: our dachshund used to sit in my wife’s lap for the ride until he passed. Everyone was happy. Hot hatches kick ass.

There are other sides to it as well. Worked for a dealer that had a sister store. Sister store had three solid salesman who sold a ton. They also had a rotating door of 10-15 other salesman at all times. They would hire a new salesman and keep them for a week or two and let them sell to a few family members or friends

Badass car. Good job dude!

This but not because of its looks. I test drove multiple of them. How can they make something like this and allow it to be so boring to drive? If it’s going to have outlandish looks please make the driving experience keep up with the looks.

Either of the ST twins fit the bill. See way more of the Fosts out and about but still a fairly rare car.

By joking that he may start charging for parking I don’t think he means to current residents. Most likely open it up to the public. He’s also scaring the residents in to thinking he’ll open their Street up to the public therefore driving them to offer more so it doesn’t happen.

Missed the no stick part but I think it’s time to man up and learn. Budget is 20-25. I picked mine up new for 19k and change.

How are you going to suggest a fit over a fist? Fist is way more fun. Takes me, the lady, our Dane and our dachshund to the shore with no problem.

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the average or cars sold have to be 54mpg? As long as they sell enough hybrids/electric cars they can still keep producing muscle cars with massive v8s? Example: Aston Martin making that Scion iQ an Aston so they can keep throwing v12s in their cars.

Does rear wheel drive really change driving dynamics all that much in snow when the battery sits in the middle of the car? I know fwd helps a bit when there’s a motor sitting over the wheels but it’s only minimal. Dedicated snow tires change the game big time no matter what wheels are driving the car.

Worked at a Lincoln dealer back in the day. Really like those cars. Kudos to you for still having one.

Similar story but mine was an 85 olds cutlass cierra coupe.

Don’t feel bad for the realtor. I am one and I enjoy putting extra work in so that my clients get the features they want.

I scrolled through a lot of the comments. How was the Mazda 2 never mentioned. Pretty damn cheap and can be turned in to a real solid autocrosser with some light modifications. I don’t see them all too often either.

Always bring your spare set. When they claim to have lost your keys say no problem, call me when you find them and drive home.

Am I really the only one that thinks Radikal Bikers arcade game?

Will McLaren gift it to me after you’re done with it?
