They did all sorts of scummy stuff with Tribes that made people who paid money for that game ending up with useless stuff later in the games lifecycle, they also lied about their content plans in Global Agenda to make it seem like it was going to keep getting support and then suddenly being shutdown.

I didn't like Warface on the Xbone but it's hard for me to put down on the Switch. Good community on the Switch version as well.

I got a year for a dollar, it ends this month, but renewing is a no brsiner for me. It's easily the best value of any of the services I've tried.  If you play 3 major releases a year it's paid for itself. 

If you just want to play the games on either a console or a PC, it’s only $10. $15 gets you game pass for both Xbox AND PC, as well as Xbox Live. So it’s essentially the cost of game pass + live, but then gets you the extras of PC support and now streaming. 

There have also been a lot of promotions to get it cheaper up to now. There was the deal to convert your XBox Gold to Game Pass for a $1 a month for how many months you prepaid it.

Hot takes: Games were overpriced for much of their existence. Publishers have driven up the price of development, not the market. Developers — the actual people working on the games — are about as likely to benefit from the inevitable price hike as consumers are.
