I used to believe and act exactly as you describe.  Then I read Michael Harriot’s columns for about a year.  You get called WYPIPO enough times you start to assume it’s ok to use racial slurs.

Ok, I agree with all of that. But I’m also against violence before words. I’m against any group using derogatory terms about another group. When I selected the handle on a car site, it gets used on all related sites.

Me Too.  Funny thing though, I’m white and so are my family members.  In some cases the cops were POC.  That’s where the entire BLM thing went off the rails.  It became about race instead of about civilians and bad cops.
