The only thing organizers give a shit about on UK trackdays is how noisy your bike is. You’ll have the most expensive sound measurement equipment possible, but that’ll be the extent of the checks. You might have some guy throw a cursory glance over your bike, but that will be it. I’ve seen some truly horrific shitters…

So few corporate sponsors in F1? Think again, there are lots. It’s just that F1 drivers don’t have to read a shopping list of sponsor names and actually manage to answer questions. Altough Nascar isn’t as bad as AMA Supercross, there are no interviews there, they just thank their sponsors.
