What a waste of talent.
What a waste of talent.
The argument is NWSL vs MLS and USWNT vs USMNT. For the US teams, it should be equal (at least from the base salary with similar and equally achievable incentives). For *anything* else, it needs to be commensurate to the league they’re playing in.
You really should stop posting about this. You actively harm your side with such ridiculous posturing. You are even right that they should be compensated equally for their USNT participation, but you are so dumb about how you approach it that you will actively make people disagree.
The problem you’re seeing here is that the compensation models are not the same between the men and the women, because they bargain separately. The women bargained in favor of more guaranteed money, the men bargained in favor of higher incentives, lower guarantees.
I can’t tell if this is joking or serious.
“There’s no reason the women shouldn’t be compensated the same as the men for a sport they are BETTER at anyways”
Did you miss the part about the “0.00% chance”? This was egregious and I 100% guarantee the Phillie fan would be losing his mind if it had been them that got this call.
It’s like the “VAR” stuff that Haisley is always hating on. It’s impressive how much he hates it when it gets calls correct against his team.
I can’t stand the Cubs, and my Brewers are still chasing them in the Central so it’s nice to see them lose, but yeah. That’s pretty freaking terrible. Like Angel Hernandez in the WBC bad.
I think you’re underestimating how replaceable most of the journalistic workforce is.
What an insufferable headline. Wow.
How can you tell that? I didn’t think Kinja allowed you to star your own posts.
“You make sense, and I’m curious what made her bite down on a pistachio without examining it first.”
Serena is only GOAT for women’s tennis. Treat them separately. Fed is currently GOAT for men’s tennis but Djokovic could easily pass him. I’m not so sure Nadal can.
Have they changed the rules to stop LBJ?
The GOAT for racquetball is a white Canadian. They changed the service rules to try to stop him as well.
It’s the south.
“That’s the same amount of unarmed black men that will be shot by officers in the next 30 minutes.”
Good thing that in no way was the government involved in any of the punishments here, or there would be a first amendment issue.
I absolutely agree (and thanks to that person for crunching the numbers), and do and did agree that it’s very unlikely but very unlikely things happen all the time. *All* the time. It’s certainly suspicious and I’d be very curious about the selection process.
