Hormone levels are absolutely demonstrable to athletic performance. That’s why every PED test tests for testosterone levels, because that’s how the body works.

I believe most governing bodies are allowing trans women to compete with HRT in place (and I believe having been in place for at least a year maybe?), which I believe is about as fair as it can get while still allowing them to compete.
