I got SO much of that “Well, I did BLANK and my baby is FINE.” As if by not eating deli meat on the advice of my doctor, I was telling all other mothers that if they did eat deli meat, they were terrible mothers.

She was indeed dreadful. I hated every design she did, and some were positively enraging, like sticks and straw on the walls.

Then there was that room where she nailed albums to the wall. All I could think was “Oh god - they are going to have to resurface that ENTIRE WALL.”

I loved it too. I was much younger and had babies back then and it was a wonderful break from reality. I miss this type of show - and making fun of the crazy people on it.

Yeah. The cast iron rule is never comment on a woman’s pregnancy unless (a) she mentions it first, or (b) you are her obstetrician and are actually delivering the baby at the time.

There’s always the statistic that 80-90% of Americans, including gun owners and even some NRA members, are ok with certain common-sense gun control measures. I wish the gun owners in that group would organize better against the crazies that run the NRA, SAF, and GOA.

This is a good example of why you need to have fire extinguishers in the house. You don’t need an expensive one just make sure its rated for different types of fires. If he had one it would have been over with in a few seconds.

Both these groups are the reason women in the '70s said we should just all choose to be lesbians to opt out of the whole patriarchy. I'm married to a great man who doesn't fit either profile (uh obviously or I wouldn't have married him) but I'm really starting to get their argument.

You’re right, I should have worded it better. If your not predisposed, marijuana won’t cause psychosis. The issue is that not everybody knows there predisposed and some people might never actually experience psychosis if they didn’t use marijuana.

I can’t be the only one in need of this after reading that.
