My mom would broil them til they were almost impossible to chew. I was probably in my mid thirties before I actually ate  a pork chop voluntarily.

I have several clients with serious health problems who refused to get ACA policies because they are so brainwashed by Fox News. I told one women she could qualify for a free policy and and that her I was concerned that she would be bankrupted if she needed heart surgery. She said the Democrats invented the ACA

Garryetta is just child abuse! Change one letter  around and call her Gray, if it’s so important to name her after Dad

When they were filming, they apparently ate at Succotash almost every morning, and I lived around the corner! Also, I kept missing them by an hour here or there. They were in the Crossroads constantly

I just commented on another post that the men were all just in arrested development, and that dude was the worst. He was an absentee dad who chose to live in a van rather than get a decent job to support his kid. Fuck him, I’m sure there were tons of other worthy candidates.

I felt the same way, they were all just man-children in serious arrested development. I felt for the widower, but I was incredibly frustrated that a middle aged man needed to be taught how to feed and for his own children. I can only imagine the outcry if a mom said she couldn’t figure out how to dress her three kids.

It affects blood sugar/mood/stress, which are bad for the heart. Especially in an elderly guy like my dad.

Until his cardiologist made my dad change, my parents only ate one big meal a day and then had a couple snacks. Older people have slower metabolisms and just smaller appetites, and they often don’t want to put any effort into cooking or cleaning up

I’ve always been a C student. In Grad school, one of my professors explained that I, like many C students studied to understand core concepts.  A students were good at memorizing details but often had difficulty explaining how pieces actually fit together or how concepts built upon each other. There  were a lot of

I mean....do you think the kid will be able to forgive his parents for allowing him to suffer like this? At some point he’ll be old enough to understand that this was preventable and his parents are monsters. I’m still mad at my mom for waitimg a full day to take me to the hospital when I broke my leg at 12. How do

Some hair salons and cosmetology schools offer cheap classes on doing children’s hair!

I have a second job with mostly 20 somethings, and they just aren’t as willing to put up with the level of nonsense my that we Gen X-ers did. Sometimes I tell them stories about the ludicrous abuse and harassment I tolerated without question, and they are shocked.

Ah! She sure is! And her recipes are fantastic

And she sure can wear bright jewel tones!

Oh shit! My beloved Lidia was accused of keeping an indentured servant?!? Ugh. Is there anyone in the restaurant industry who isn’t completely gross?

That’s so nice to hear. He’s one of a handful of actors that I truly adore. The summer 90210 first aired, my coworkers and I got ridiculously into it and would discuss last night’s episode all morning while setting up. Everybody thought Dylan McKay was the absolute coolest guy we’d ever seen.

EVERYTHING has a shocking lack of Jonathan. What couldn’t benefit from extra Jonathan

And funny and talented. I don’t get the hate

A dude was furious that I was traveling at a safe speed in the snow, so he honked and honked, even though I was in the slow lane and he could easily use the other two lanes. He finally sped past me much too fast, and promptly hit a patch of ice and skidded right into a ditch

I always wonder how going viral affects the relationships of all these Permit Patty’s. Are they shunned by their neigbors and coworkers? Do people support them and feel sorry for them? Did everyone already hate them so there’s no noticeable difference?
