I will never cease to be amazed by the way conservative figures, in politics, entertainment or otherwise, can play the “I’m just too dangerous and edgy for people to accept” when republicans hold both houses of Congress and there’s a nominally republican president in the White House.

My policy is, whatever I get tattooed has to have been a part of my life for 10 years. Served me well so far.

And if she’s using the scheduling process to be petty, she’s probably not fully optimizing the schedule in terms of things like productivity, work/life balance for others in the department, etc. That could be a huge opportunity if the poster can do a better job than she has been.

So, all their nefarious plans are working out as intended. Surprise.

I hope all of the women that want to do run away. Fast.

Those are really great ideas! I wonder if just leaving your door open will help. Or setting up a little free library in the common area with books and magazines that you’re done with. It takes a bit of effort, but the experiment seems worth it.

I love that the Satanic Temple makes it their beeswax to be as ridiculously litigious as they can whenever shit like this happens. They are good eggs.

I know that, but the renovation part in a totally different country is real. Extra dramatized, but the differences are interesting. Also I just like seeing inside houses in different places. Except the resort and vacation home ones they’re frequently all the same.

Not so confusing when you realize most of them practice a form of Christian nihilism.

These are the states that turned away federal funds for Medicaid expansion. Republican governors = death.

So tangentially related because the pregnancy angle, I just started watching The Handmaid’s Tale and holy shit, it’s terrifying. The way we fetishisize pregnancy but don’t give a shit about women or live children is really well demonstrated in the show. It’s never been about babies or abortions it’s about controlling

Cant’s we drive a stake through the heart of this vampire of a show? Or cut the head off if it’s a zombie?

But who is going to watch regardless of who the judges are?

Hahaha this is very Lifehacker comment and I love it.

Don’t forget that Colorado Springs is also lousy with evangelicals, and there’s also no recreational marijuana. I try to avoid Colorado Springs whenever possible.

Yeah, but I have literally seen men (at Dan’s bar) order a drink that is full of manly whiskey, smoked whatever, bitters, etc., and then when it arrives in a coupe glass, scoff and ask if they could have it poured into a different glass.

I understand that the lawyers’ job is to deny and downplay in attempts to minimize or negate a pay out, however if anyone attempted to monetize images or 6 sec clips of Beyonce without compensation there is not a planet on which they would consider that “fair use”. I’m sure they will come to a reasonable settlement.

It would have been so easy for her production team to give him some money for the clip and avoid this altogether.

Not a good look for Bey IMO. $20mm may be a lot, but significantly co-oping another (LGBT) artist’s work in your most-played song without any “hey i think ur great would love to work with u on this song” is kind of outrageous.
