There’s also the fact that Angie’s mom let Angie’s boyfriend live with them when Angie was only 14. It went on for 2 years — Angie described it as living like a married couple — and Angie thinks it was brilliant parenting.

I’ve never understood the magnitude of her celebrity. Her acting only occassionally rises to passable and is often cringe-inducingly awful. And she’s off-the-charts, Gwyneth pretentious, though even worse.

There are several respectable articles in the New York Times and The New Yorker that suggest as much. Not exactly US Weekly type of publications. I’m sure she’s helped a few people, but it’s minuscule compared to how much it’s helped her.

You should read the piece in The New Yorker from a few years ago. It wasn’t shooting Beyond Borders that sparked her interest. It was her weird interviews costing her work that sparked her management team’s interest in remaking her image. Notice the huge difference.

Because she has never done a damn thing without issuing a million press releases. It would go against her character to do something quietly. She’s already on her 4th or 5th press release about the break-up. Usually, people issue just the one about that sort of stuff.

It’s weird too bc she seems perfectly fine, It must be a mindfuck to have to be told you’re still pining for your ex a decade after you broke up and you have moved on and are in love with and married to another person, I swear when she’s 80 there will still be stories about this shit.

This is an excellent decision, because the judge decided on the basis of the Establishment Clause. Previous decisions had punted on that issue; the Ninth Circuit’s Order was decided on the basis of the due process clause.
