I don’t think you can just ignore the well earned reputation Boston sports fans have as a contributing factor to what their local sports radio is.

I don’t think Boston is the big problem. I think Sports Radio in general is the culprit. The entire industry is modeled on artificial conflict and outrage to get listeners. It’s always going to be odious at its core, no matter what city it originates from.

Enough money to compensate him for the expensive surgery he’ll probably have to go through, as well as the pain suffered. And yeah, you always go after the people with the money. Amazingly enough, she isn’t being criminally charged though, so she’ll get no time.

She does deserve time. I don’t see why he deserves a boatload of money though. Certainly don’t see why the club should pay him anything, unless she had some prior history of violence that they chose to ignore.

But that’s “salary” not total compensation. Most CEOs actually ear reasonable salaries on paper. It’s all the options and bonus stuff that gets them into exorbitant territory.
