I've worked for payroll companies, and I can confirm this is a #NotAllEmployers situation - we've definitely had restaurants (usually nicer ones) with separate cost centers for side work, where the employee was paid minimum wage. I assume these were people who either had been sued or were afraid of being sued.

Are we sure this wasn’t an April Fools joke? I read the article on ESPN and thought it was the most confusing case of Poe’s Law I’d ever seen.

I'm not normally a Sierra Nevada fan, but I ordered this as something different at the bar last night, and it was really good! Props to them, whether or not they're misleading on the "session" front.

Given the way Rodgers owned him, this was more of a "go get your shinebox".

It does actually infinitely scroll (well, generally it locks up and stops loading new content at a certain point) but that little foot icon will always stay in the bottom right of whatever's showing on screen. I had to figure that out thru trial and error too, I just happened to do so last month :)

I found it in about 3 seconds.

Thanks for the link! Just checked with the Copyright Office and the Chive is registered there for DCMA purposes, so it seems they'd fall under the DCMA provisions (any profit would be unlikely to be "directly attributable" as it's all ad revenue, and no more directly attributable than YouTube's, for instance)

Only a responsibility in that they're required to take it down given a copyright claim. And they did take this down immediately. They're not expected to know beforehand.

His murder average is pretty low, but I'm waiting to hear what the Advanced Stats guys say about his Murder Over Replacement and Kill Shares numbers.

That's really interesting - makes it seem more likely this was something deliberately done as a submission, since the recovery album they posted doesn't include the non-anorexia picture at all.

So you remember ever piece of work your coworkers did last July? (The recovery gallery and the swapped picture were posted by different editors) Because that's the standard you're holding them to here.

That's really interesting, especially considering the healthier "before" picture is not part of that album, but the "after" picture is. Makes it seem more likely that it was a deliberate submission by someone.

Are you really prepared to make the statement that a) the two posted locations are the only places on the entire internet these photos exist, and b) that it's not possible that someone took the photos, removed context, and submitted them manually (the Chive does take submissions).

Dammit, I was sure THIS ONE was going to be about my boner.

German fingering, eh?

This is so difficult. I'm going to list 3 craft beers and pretend that one of the answers isn't obviously Bud Light Lime for when I just want to drink all day.

Now I'm wondering if I know them.

Sounds like everybody is happier for the overall experience - you got rid of a moron, they found each other, charities get cash. Tho I feel like you'd put out the eye if you tried motorboating while wearing a unicorn mask :)

I actually proposed to my now fiancee on the way to a Chive Charities event.

Yeah, he's always been the speedy centerfielder/wide receiver/normal-looking guy. Some of his friends make Bill Goldberg look like a he wears neck rings, though.

I would love to have a prof who looked like that!

I do get what you're saying about the stereotypical rugger. The forwards definitely get most of the promo

Just a quick note - SOME rugby players (the forwards) are huge, but the backs tend to be much more on the small and quick side. My brother started at fly half for his university at 5'8, 170.
