Yeah.. I read somebody say the other day in a thread "what's wrong with a happy ending? dont u guys want dexter to be happy?" That made me laugh.

Yeah, that's true… I wish Lumen could have come back though.

Yes, because the writers have nervous breakdowns, because they can't handle the idea of Deb in jail, or Dexter dying, or Harrison bleeding.

They could have put Deb in jail for LaGuertas murder. That would have been emotional and twisted, Dexter running around free while Deb is in jail. But I don't think the writers could have handled writing it; they would have had a nervous breakdown and had to stop filming. I mean, she confessed and was saved

The following? I feel sick. Betrayed. Scott buck cheated on me with a low level actress with a bad boob job. The following is a joke, whereas Dexter wouldnt have needed any rehab if he hadn't put a butcher to it, or given it heroin and then left it holding the needle. And Scott Buck isn't anywhere as neat as Dexter is

I've never taken a psych class in my life.

I didn't notice the mustache on the photo software.. Maybe I was in another room, or maybe I failed to notice. Anyway, I read about the mustache and remembered watching an episode of another show where a character has a mustache drawn onto their face with black marker and then shows up to a date with part of it on

Do you still agree with that statement? I know it's only one episode later, but I have a hard time reconciling how a planned ending fits with what they've done.

Lundy!!! Now he was a great character, damn it, why did they have to kill him off… Him finding out about Dexter would have been interesting. Lundy putting Dexter under a microscope- very interesting. When we thought the psycho whisperer could actually analyze and might put the bay Harbor butcher under a scope, that

I get the feeling Quinn might be the next Dexter, that he knows what Dexter does and respects it. Another huge leap for a character, a thing that doesn't sit right, but then again, Quinn walking away from Dexter was always a strange move that's gotten weirder over time. Spin off: Quinn takes the code into his own

Off topic, but while I liked watching Hannibal, I didn't think it it was as great as everybody made it out to be.. And I couldn't stand to see the encephalitis go untreated for so long. It seemed like Perception meets.. I dunno, Mad Men but without the humor? So i agree that a show that takes itself too seriously can

Yeah, it's not as if they practice any law in the show anyway

She became unlikable and then.. just stayed that way.

Yeah, but then what happens to Mikes secret? I get the feeling as soon as they break up, she's gonna get loose lips. I've generally had a problem with him telling her, and she seems to be kind of fickle on what's right or wrong in the moment..

I dont know, I think I might enjoy watching Hannah die.

you know, I remember reading pre-season 8 the writers saying stuff like "we want the audience to feel the emptiness.. without LaGuerta there, there's going to be a hole, and we are not going to fill it with a new cast member, we want the audience to feel it."

Yeah, I loved the end of season 7 too. Carpenters acting deserved some kind of freaking award in the LaGuerta scene. I thought there was still hope of a Deb-Dexter love plot EVEN when Hannah showed up! (and despite the audience reactions about sibling stuff). I'm surprised they didn't continue the direction that

Why is somebody from season 3 or whatever it is reading a review from season 8?

check my tone? why? Make sure to check it in at the door when I walk in is more like it so I dont get put in a padded cell with insults strung across my room like christmas lights.

Just watched Goodbye Miami.. Curious what grade it will get. Fairly certain it will go up from the D, but no idea how far.
