Maybe Showtime pays IMDBs bills.
Maybe Showtime pays IMDBs bills.
i agree FV. Nicely put. There are some of us who have only watched one but not the other so we're a bit left field of the mob pit lynching. Saying over and over again "but I thought there was going to be a better ending, I feel used, blue-balled" is just like reading a book and not feeling satisfied with the ending..…
Yes, I agree they are incisive, funny, (and scathing) altho there seems to be this thing where actual trolls go around calling other people trolls. Be careful, you may have incurred their wrath by suggesting they shouldn't hold their precious show to the highest standards possible.
I also hate Hannah.I never found her interesting, didn't understand the energetic response the actress received.. Is she a plot device to make Dexter look like a puppy?
Dear Jesus Monroe.
I am capable of juggling more than one viewpoint in my head… Thanks for quoting me, apparently I got a lot of likes.
My goodness. Karen wrote in a scene of Deb and Hannah taking a shower togerher.. And somebody cut it out. What planet is she on? Karen seems to have forgotten the "thy shall not kill" amendment and its ramifications in the REAL world.. She could learn something from Vogel.
"It's weird, this is like the END!" -Scott…
She certainly states the obvious!
I would love to see Scott Reynolds and Karen Campbell grilled by you lot.
"connection never had before? Dexters able to live in total honesty and truth?" -Scott WHAAA?
Dexter writers keep saying they decided they would go for the ending they wanted, and how they've wanted this ending for so long.. But we're still wondering what that ending is. Somebody pointed out that it could be that Deb killed Dexter instead of Laguerta and we're in a Deb reality lol? But that's taking too much…
No time for losers cuz we are the champions. At least I don't have a fake avatar from somebody from the 80s.
You like to use a picture of a man with a mustache and a poodle whose name is "Freddie Mercury."
You have a mustache…. and a poodle.
Leave me alone.
The writers on the Dexter show have been saying they planned this ending since the beginning of Season 7. (The season 7 ending blew my mind with Deb and Laguerta…I thought it was dead on.) Do you think it's possible they really have planned it for this long? Then after coming here I found a Huffington post that said…
Maybe the "wonderful" ending they had was changed so we can have a Jennifer Carpenter spin-off.
Yeah, I think you explained the problem very well… They had several endings they wanted to tell. (And just on this page, I've seen like 3 great endings I would probably have enjoyed!) So maybe people are mad not because it's not a good show, but because it could have been better.. It had so much "possibility," etc.
another cool ending…
Well hours after watching the show I went here, read several scathing reviews, and then read every single comment on here.. so afterwards I was definitely a little mad. Have you read every single comment on here?
Doakes being the Bay Harbour Butcher was totally out of character, and I think ppl sensed that (so sad Laguerta ended up trying to defend him, doing her first police work in how long 6 seasons too late!) If Dexter came out when he was with Rita.. it would have gone differently, I think, more press clamoring… Also…
You should tell her that. You're quite the romantic. No wonder you're mad with your tv series.
Yeah, I wondered about that too… I figured he didn't want to ask because he didnt want the brain surgeon to see Hannah any more than he possibly has. Bad decision there.
It's episode 9. Three more episodes left now.
