It was.
It was.
Team America is still the single funniest film I've ever seen.
My main worry about this film was actually Gavin Free, but to hear that he's actually the funniest fills me with great hope. As a big RT fan, this is kind of what I was expecting, reviews wise. Still, should be fun to see with other fans.
So, the Rav-4 they found with Avery's blood in it. It's definitely blue, didn't the news say to look for a dark green Rav-4 when Teresa was announced missing?
Great moment. Also loved him rock bottoming The Stath through a glass table. Particularly satisfying.
In true AV Club fashion, a Best Of list where I haven't heard of 90% of the artists on it!
I just watched it and I thought it was seriously great. My one question though is this. Does Ethan Hawke do the same process over and over again? Once it ends, does it then restart? Is he stuck in a literal loop forced to ensure his birth and death for the rest of his life?
The food fight scene in Hook. That food looks like Route 1 to diabetes, but my god does it look good.
They do in the sense that they have the same scene, but a lot of the awful connotations said in the book are completely forgotten for a happy sunset shot. It's bad.
Did Teti actually predict the Chiefs would win a game? Put all your money on the Bills next week.
It was definitely cool from a design standpoint, but it was literally all grey.
To date, the only film I've seen that has made my stomach turn was Human Centipede 2. Let's see how this one goes.
At this point, is there any film that can stop Jupiter Ascending from getting Best Picture?
Starring Brad Pitt as George Lucas
Ants in my Eyes Johnson and The Personal Space Show.
But War Planet Apes doesn't make sense! We need to connect these three words somehow!
Not enough Welsh stuff on TV IMO.
"Her-mee-own" here. World was shattered when I found out its actual pronunciation.
In The Night is the standout track for me.
I like Foo Fighters a lot, but it's weird to me that they're as famous as they are without making one genuinely great album.
