Gas costs are easily offset by not needing to eat in restaurants, by airplane tickets or stay in a hotel. Those things add up fast for families.

This is sorta like saying, “I can’t afford a car, Ferrari’s cost $200k.” High-end motorhomes do sell for $500k and up, but they’re not the norm. Average price for an RV trailer is about $30k. Average price for a motorhome is about $100k.
