Hey Rufant! I am always interested in how others handle cooking on the road, so if you write something up I would love to read it! I have learned a lot from the people we have traveled with and am always looking for more ideas. I will bug Tim to get back at writing. Thanks for the kind words! It has been both very…
Well I laughed!
I tend to choose my lines carefully. I have only been stuck 3 times. Once in a legit 4x4 and twice in a Subaru within 50 ft of each other. BUT I like to explore with my wife and kid. So even though I rarely need all my recovery gear, it gives me peace of mind that, were my judgement to be a bit off, I can self rescue…
I didn’t think I could secure them well on their side. They fit on the back area, but they would be a big air dam. So I put them in the Skybox and strapped them down.
Nice! I worked a summer in bike shop that sold them back in the day so got to ride the shop demonstrator about a bit, my buddy crashed it...
Wait until you see these bridging ladders. Two are much larger than 4 Maxtrax. I think for compactness, the Maxtrax win for sure.
I've never seen them flower like that! They are a type of sundew. It's an insectivorous plant of the genus Drosera (according to M'lady).
Very, very nice.
I’ve thought up a solution to your Jeep problem. If a Jeep isn’t fuel efficient enough to replace yours or your wife’s commuter car, and you won’t get rid of the Dodge for sentimental reasons.
Hope the Evo repairs went well. Really enjoyed this series.
These travelogues have become my summer beach reading, please keep on trucking!
In keeping with my plan that 2 GoTreads and 2 Crux Offroad bridging ladders are cheaper and more capable than 4x Maxtrax.
2inch lift. Going up on 34's tomorrow.
As Clarkson would say, "I'm having a crisis!"
Good stuff, man. Keep going.
We’ve been through Peterborough many a time...and I never knew there was a motorcycle collection there! I know there’s a very fine railway collection but the motorcycles are new to me. Nice that they are oddbods too.
Great write-up! Looks like a very nice part of Oz....hopefully I can visit Down Under someday! :)
Who’d have though the car crash at Roman Grosjean’s team would in the sponsor’s tent... Lets make projections so we can say “Told ya so” or “Man I was waay off” when the dust clears
