Everyone I’ve ever discussed this car with likes it. Some go crazy for it. I think it’s very cool too. I’m at a point in my life where I realize that with few exceptions, our memory of old cars is better than the reality. That doesn’t mean other can’t or shouldn’t lust after them, but I don’t. I think today’s cars are

Sport Trac! I saw an immaculate one this Sunday!

Waguck?

You could have bought this ancient pollution generator!

Glass

Yeah....people say they’d never buy a wagon. Well what the hell do they think these things are?

More than 5 years, but I agree that company’s a mess. I was the biggest GM supporter for years as well as an investor. No more. If they don’t care about the company, neither do I. To hell with ’em.

Guess who Barra’s laughing at in the pics.

Don’t exaggerate. They only roll over once or twice a day at most! If an arm gets pinched off in a rollover, so be it.

All the problems of this country could be fixed by more duck beatings! Coddling Ducks will lead to our downfall as a nation!

I love the Beatles! Just teasing you. I bet they can be fun to drive. They didn’t last long in the Chicago winters, but in the summer I’d see a lot of them when I was a kid.

I don’t get too excited by Jeeps but I’d take this one. I like the 6 cyl version. A manual is just right too. A bit expensive but Jeeps are a bit cultish I think so that enters into it. I think it’s kind of cool. I know it’s blasphemous to some but I’d put less aggressively treated tires on it. I’d use it for short

“Quiet is the sound of quality” Ad slogan.

Loved these! Single digit mpg. Had a 460 3 speed auto in it or something like that. Very plush! I liked the suicide door T-Bird too!

I drove one a few years ago and it was fun! A great time capsule experience.

Tires last longer when they spend 50% of their time on the ground. Fact.

Regarding the Thing, I think the line in the movie “Vacation” was “You think you hate it now....wait until you drive it!”
