In the 50’s though the sixties, they had a great campaign for the time. There were print ads with beauty shots of expensive jewelry juxtaposed with color matched Cadillacs. It all just oozed elegance for the time. In the mid sixties, it was all fashion model babes looking in the visor mirror or lounging in repose

You have Point there. I’m no lawyer but there is some name for the concept of “but for.” The idea is “but not for their actions, she would not have been caught in the road. We’ll see how it goes if they’re caught.
