I don’t see the logic in this. As explained above by someone who gets paid for content on YouTube, he gets paid when an ad is in clicked on. I have never, ever clicked on a YouTube ad, because its always junk I have no interest in, and I doubt I ever will. So where is the ethical problem if no revenue is being taken…
