Also, it was pretty funny to hear the Killer Hutchinses give pointed commentary on America's immorality and hypocrisy.

I'm still not sure what to make of it. I don't think she's been in a coma the whole time based on how Richard talks about her and how he knew about Cooper through her, but I'm really not sure what is going on at all. She seems to have some kind of mental block about leaving, for sure.

Hmm, if it was so important for MIKE to tell Cooper "Don't die," he probably should have mentioned something about not sticking forks in electrical outlets.

After all Myles' talk about Jon being a terrible military commander, my new headcanon is that everyone knows it, but follows him anyway because he's clearly been picked by the gods, if the number of life-saving ass-pulls is any indicator.

You can trust that they know how easily you could have them burned to death!

Ah! I watched 1 and 2 together the first time, separately a later time.

Ah— but even that was Rob Lowe. Talk about a roundabout reference.

To paraphrase Jon, he's breathing, ain't he?

Props to Craig Wedren: "Night Howling" was such an authentic recreation of a 1991-era New Jack Swing song that I had to look it up afterward to see if it was real.

Given the way TV coverage has been slashed around here, I doubt they're looking to add new writers.

Paul Schneider was the architect on Parks, though.

I guess that was the running joke, but the first time he said "I have to be somewhere at 11" I thought he was talking about disposing of Alyssa Milano's body.

Hmm. I haven't read Secret History yet. I wonder if, based on some things I've heard, some of the details in there are simply not accurate.

I don't think there's any basis to think that.

Dunno if Brandon caught this (I figure other commenters likely have), but it's not a "mallet" Gendry swings, it's a warhammer, notable because it's the same weapon his father wielded.

Grace Zabriskie (who plays Sarah Palmer) would have been 15 in 1956; that part adds up, at least.

1. Does anyone think the new bro-mance will get awkward when Jon learns Gendry's father killed his real father, rather than being best friends?

I want to say that regular chess is 2-D— not considering time— and that the original statement was "3-D chess" intended as a compliment, but of course that's been since changed to "12-D chess" and the like for mocking that mentality.

BEN: I don't think we can hire a kid who won't take off his glove—
JERRY: WAIT! My foot is not my foot… and your hand is not your hand? Ben, we HAVE to hire him.

Nope.
