The compilation of Norm trying to get through the promo for their sponsor, the MANGRATE, always kills me.

I've heard this before, but I don't think it was on the same special. Or, hell, maybe it was; I just don't remember watching those back in the day.

"They always say he 'lost his battle.' But when the host dies, the bowel cancer dies. So I think that's a tie. The bowel cancer's not getting up afterwards going "GRAAARRGH, I'm fucking Uncle Burt's wife now…" taking his job…"

Seeso has the entire library of SNL available, and there are some edits but by and large I think they're more complete than the Comedy Central ones were.

I've been periodically going through Norm's old Weekend Update, because I might be insane, and I was surprised at how often Norm made this joke. (That, and the joke about any time there's a war or conflict, Bill Clinton flees to England to get high.)

Just making sure I didn't miss some incident in the show.

Gale was in academia before joining Gus' organisation, we know that much. We don't see his life really outside of how it crosses paths with Jesse and Walt, so we don't know who in his life he might have needed a cover story for. He probably still said he was a chemist; hell, he could probably go so far as admitting to

Jimmy already knows it's not real, though. If they could get Clea Duvall away from Veep, they could have had her testify that she proved it to Jimmy back in season one.

"It's a loan-out, it's totally legit." When Saul asks Walt and Jesse for the money to make the Badger problem go away, he asks them to get a cashier's check (IIRC) made out to "Ice Station Zebra Associates."

Little bit of both. Jimmy did the latter as it was the only way to establish the former.

And of course, while Chuck has been trying to fashion his illness as rare, unique, and just not understood by doctors yet, even comparing it to AIDS, the prosecutor makes the much more obvious comparison, to schizophrenia, and that sets Chuck off.

You mean Brock?

Gotta love people who will go out of their way to be a dick to prove a point.

Yeah, i loved the way they shot his rant— and getting really up close and personal works so well on a face like McKean's— and equally, afterward, when he realizes what he's done, it's hanging in the air, the camera makes him look so small.

Yeah, the commenters suggested a lot of possibilities— many of them reasonable— but it turned out they were just going with the relatively straightforward move.

Really enjoyed the AMC interview with Rhea Seehorn— I usually don't read much of this sort of extra content but she really gives some sharp insight into Kim's perspective on matters.

Knowing the tape would be introduced into evidence opened the door for Jimmy and Kim to argue that context is necessary to understanding the tape, and thus to their arguments about Chuck's mental instability.

I just remembered that in the very first episode Chuck asks Jimmy to stop using the McGill name on his promotional materials, to "avoid confusion" with HHM. (He hides it as a request from Howard, of course, but by now we know the truth on this matter.) I'm leaning toward agreeing with those who think the shoe will be

When did he really put forth _consistent effort_ to change? On par in time and energy with his years of fleecing people?

Eh, I think he was just more concerned about the content of Caligula (though it is possible).
