Oh, that's nice.

What's the matter, Trey, you chafing again?

Well, the Doc and Mharti shorts that spawned Rick and Morty pretty much were a Back to the Future parody, if the entire plot of Back to the Future was "old guy tries to get a teenager to lick his balls."

Haha, holy shit, really? Is there a good screen grab of it somewhere?

Season 2 was supposed to be the "dark year" of Community. Then season 3 was the "Dark year." Then season 4 was terrible, which was actually dark for us fans.

Huh, I was thinking that the "97 years" joke was based in this being the third season (100-3=97 and all), but the idea that Rick is slightly degrading is even better.

Here's the thing: It is inappropriate, and Matthew's drawing of his family with Owen in place of Vic really hits home that, yeah, Vic has a point and there are real consequences to this. But with Vic, I never felt like he was doing it for the right reasons; it's always about his ego and self-image, not what's best for

It's not the disagreement… it's the smug sense of superiority…

I think it happens in both "Pancakes" reviews.

I'm still pissed it was the only one of the talk shows last year that got cancelled because it was the only one I found to really have interesting and trenchant commentary.

I think there's a fair amount of evidence that, charitably, he has anger management issues.

I'm pretty sure Jack's stress-eating from season 1 was taken directly from Alec Baldwin's real life.

I can't take credit for the idea; it was raised in the reviews of The Shield by The Professor, @wallflower.

4. I'm not sure, but not nearly as much as he's spent on the show out of his own pocket in the past.

I always enjoyed Forrest's Tobias Funke-esque ability to rationalize his own shitty and easily foreseeable decisions, or the actions of others to take advantage of him (Forrest : Grant :: Tobias : Carl Weathers), as "the universe" guiding him to his true destiny.

I thought of The Shield, too (as I always do when I think of a great ending), so you're not alone.

Spoilers for Breaking Bad, just in case

Three cheers to Emily, whose reviews of Review have been one of the best features on this site since they began.

I go back and forth; Josh seemed weirdly devoted to Forrest at times (certainly in their goodbye, which I'm guessing was sincere because it doesn't make much sense for it not to be) but he definitely encouraged Forrest to get in over his head on assignments, especially after Tina showed up.

Did Josh also get electrocuted from the flagpole landing on him? It looked like Tina got shocked when she tried to free him.
